Physical Attractiveness Price Index – PAPI
When fully developed, the Physical Attractiveness Price Index (PAPI) will track costs for products, procedures, and services that represent a defined "physical attractiveness market basket." This price-market-basket will be a combination of pertinent prices to form a single price index. It will permit comparison of price differences between time periods due to inflation and other factors and comparison of price differences between geographical locations. The index will be updated annually or more frequently as demand and price conditions might warrant. Intent is to focus on prices in the United States initially and to expand internationally to the extent that accurate updated price information can be collected.
